Charotar is a region in Southern Gujarat. It is known for nurturing great ideals, values, characters, and patriots. One of such great sons of the Charotar soil is Shri Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the iron man of India. Patels or Patidars who belong to this region of Charotar are industrious agriculturists. They are development mongers and go out of their way to contribute to the development of the society, the Samaj and the nation as a whole. With a view to provide selfless service to the society, the Patidars set up Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Leuva Patidar Samaj – Matrusanstha in 1895. Patidars were wont to spending huge amount on the marriage ceremony of their daughters that led to the bankruptcy of the parents. This made them sell off their land to keep up the pomp and grandeur and through them to keep up the status symbol in the society. Matrusanstha initiated the tradition of mass marriages – a revolutionary idea in those days to avoid this spending. Matrusanstha also initiated youth fairs and managed a marriage bureau. For the benefit of the community, Matrusanstha set up a cultural development centre – Pramukh Swami Sanskrutik Kendra at Piplag. For the facility of the students, it constructed a boy’s hostel at Vallabh Vidyanagar – Shri Chhotabhai Bhikhabhai Patel Chhatralaya. These activities continue till today.

          
Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal is a registered Charity organization under reg. A/2568/Kheda on 21/04/94 new no A/1299/Anand. It is synonymous with a personalized system of honing the educational skills of students in the Charotar region. It is a symbol of academic and social excellence through its benevolent activities. It offers a wealth of knowledge, experience and attitude to the society.It was decade ago that we, at Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal had, realized need of developing Knowledge Pool. The mandal started a March towards setting up of world class education campuses and we took gigantic step of setting up of Anand Campus comprising of D.Z. Patel (Ramol/London) Higher Secondary (Science Stream) Self finance school and Jashkamal (Milcent) Vocational Training Centre (JVTC) for vocational guidance to students. The established decade's panoramic educational ventures of Kelavani Mandal have been realized from the modest expenditure of the order of Rs. 40 crores.
 

 

The Trust  

CITC is founded and managed by Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Patidar Kelavani Mandal.

Kelavani Mandal is evolved from Shri Charotar Moti Sattavis Leuva Patidar Samaj- Matrusanstha having a tradition of more than 110 years of Social Service.

Mission is “ To Serve Society through Education”.

Development strategy is to establish global level educational campuses at rural base so that rural community is directly benefited.

Trust comprises more than 900 primary members forming general assembly in turn forming executive body, Trustees & Office-bearers.

          of educational activities

          Since its inception in 1994, Kelavani Mandal has established two Education Campuses of global
          standards and has taken several programme initiatives to propel its mission. About 3500 students
          are presently being benefited by Kelavani Mandal.

Vision

          To provide Global level infrastructure at a local level, towards the upliftment of (Rural) society 
          through professional education at nominal cost.

          To provide value-based education to the students, to mould out of them citizens who would   
          bring pride to the country. This will make Indian professionals, globally present and emerge as  
          global leaders.

          To stress on mental, physical, moral and spiritual development of the students and thereby   
          help students in realizing their full potential and career goals.

          To promote increased use of sciences and technology in day to day life through R & D and  
          extension activities.

          To achieve University status.

          Financial conscientiousness by way of timely preparation and auditing of annual accounts of all the constituent units. Also timely circulation of Annual accounts to various stakeholders like donors, trustees, members of trust etc. and timely filing with Government authorities like Charity Commissioner.

         Transparency befitting a public charitable trust by publishing and wide circulation of a monthly mouthpiece – Samaj Gosthi – reporting about activities of trust and also a Bi-Monthly – Campus News – reporting activities of Education Campus-Changa.

            Kelavani Mandal has been upholding the above values in its practice since inception. All the
            admission and recruitments at all its campuses have been done only on MERIT.
